Why We Can’t Just “Move On” | Alive in Memory.
Wow! Finally! I feel so understood by this post too. The power of honesty is so compassionate when it’s not sprinkled with sugar and b.s. Yes, yes, yes to everything you say, Maria.

The Crazy Story of our Life
If you feel stuck in intense grief more than a year after your loved one died, and your grief interferes with your ability to deal with daily life, you may be experiencing complicated grief
Grief support for the rest of us
Perceptions on life after the death of a child
Grieving the loss of my daughter who died of a Childhood Cancer, Osteosarcoma.
Entering into the pain as you move through life's losses
Let her fire ignite the spirit within
Healing grief over loved ones who are gone, but forever in our hearts
Grieving Loss of my 27 year old daughter
Sharing my highs and lows...
A mother's story of loss and coping
A broken heart is open to receive...
What's hot in the kitchen and everywhere else.
REMEMBERING BEN - A MOTHER'S JOURNEY THROUGH GRIEF
A father's journey through the labyrinth of loss and longing
rewriting life after loss
Dying is a lonely journey. Not only for the sick person but also for the family. As hard as we may try to avoid death, the truth is that we do a lousy job of it. Science and medicine will certainly postpone it, even staying healthy might seem to delay it, but the harsh reality is that death does not wait for you, it does not ask you, and it does not listen to you. Death ignores your feelings and wants; you do not matter to death…Death is the only certainty in life! We need to remember that our existence here is fragile, and we never have as much time with people as we think we do. If there is someone or someones out there that you love, don’t neglect that and don’t put off engaging with them because waits for no-one... Vic's Journey ended on 18 January 2013 at 10:35. She was the most courageous person in the world and has inspired thousands of people all over the world. Vic's two boys are monuments of her existence. She was an amazing mother, daughter, sister and friend. I will miss you today, tomorrow and forever my Angle Child.
